In the last year I have attended three universities, moved 4 times, and watched as everything I knew change around me. Last year I didn’t imagine I would be where I am now and know that I won’t be anywhere close to where I imagine I will be next year. That used to scare me but during these times of major life changes, I started to appreciate the spontaneity and randomness life has for us and wanted to play into that in my portfolio. I wanted to juxtapose extreme peace with chaos to demonstrate that the two together are just as beautiful as they are alone. When viewing these images I want you to practice letting go of all your expectations of what “should” be happening among these country roads so that when life does that for you it brings you excitement not fear.
