Rig Veda Americanus
book & mobile design
For this project, I designed both print and digital layouts for Rig Veda Americanus, a collection of ancient Mexican poems in Nahuatl with English translations. My goal was to create a clear and engaging reading experience that balances historical authenticity with modern typographic design.

the issue?
The book features bilingual content (Nahuatl & English), requiring a structured layout that allows for easy comparison.
The design was restricted to black, white, and one additional color, limiting decorative elements and putting emphasis on typography.
The text needed a strong typographic hierarchy to ensure readability, especially since it includes scholarly footnotes and poetic structures.
the goal?
Use design to make people more mindful of their actions while keeping the messaging clear, engaging, and visually striking.
